Literally the best food we have had during our stay on Maui. Better than MFH, which we can say with confidence as we ate there twice. Every single thing we ate was absolutely phenomenal and we will be going back AT LEAST twice before we leave. The smoked chicken was so crispy on the outside and I didn't have to work to get all the meat off the bone, it just fell right off. The Kalua pork was EXACTLY what you want from pulled pork, teeny bit of heat balanced perfectly by the coconut rice. The brisket melts in your mouth. We are not huge pork belly fans but being a BBQ truck, we had to try it....also phenomenal. The fern salad is indescribable. The coconut rice is sticky like sushi rice and flavored to perfection- not sweet or overly coconutty, balanced all the meats perfectly. The cornbread with guava butter was a perfect way to finish the meal. The green tea is also lovely, I don't like sweet drinks and it was only sweetened just enough to take the bitterness out of the green tea. 100000/10 would recommend, I love food and my husband laughed at me because I almost started crying when we were eating because it was so good. Oh, and lastly! THE PEOPLE!!! So so so so so nice, chill, helpful. Ugh I wish I could take this place and it's people home with us!!!
Worth the stop! Detailed, delicious bbq meets plate lunch. Brisket, pork belly, and chicken were cooked and seasoned perfectly. Coconut jasmine rice and guava buttered cornbread were an ideal match with all the bbq combo entrees.
the fern salad is unlike anything i’ve tried before - so refreshing and a great contrast to all the lovely meats. as the others have said - chicken is especially amazing.
Absolutely the best!!! This was a stop on our vacation. I've been following them and so so excited we are able to stop. The food is crazy good. You should stop here if ever in Maui. The food was the best
Best food truck on Maui. For real. Huli Huli chicken and smoked brisket were both delicious, as was the coconut rice, cornbread with guava butter, and fern (!) salad. Already salivating for a return trip!
This place is so good some of the best barbecue on the island get that Houli Hooley chicken, just right chili and tater tots mine blowing. Gotta recommend the five meat chili can decide in one meat try five meats.
Visiting Hawaii for the first time from Kansas. We stopped here for lunch on our way back to our room from the Garden of Eden Botanical Garden and we’re so glad we did!! It was so good and the staff is very friendly! We got the Beef Brisket Loco Moco and it is hands down my favorite meal that I’ve had since we’ve been here!! May have to try and make another trip before heading home!!!!
We ordered pork belly and huli huli chicken. Both were very tender and nice smoked flavour. Definitely worth stopping for. Call in advance for hours as google showed 5pm but they were closed at 4pm.
